Our client is a large manufacturer of consumer goods supplying the leading retailers in Europe and their global subsidiaries. One of the production plants in food industry is located in Poland. The company is developing an investment plan to multiply current turnover. Due to that plan we are searching for a candidate for a senior managerial position:
Tasks
- Overall responsibility of all technical issues referring to machinery, internal transport (conveyors, forklifts, etc.) and the facility (building, media installation)
- Lead technical team to support installation of new equipment
- Implement lean strategy problem solving and continuous improvement with special focus on TPM
- Monitor the progress of the investment and report to the Board
- Create and manage (with support of HR function) new team development plan including recruitment, induction, training, appraisal, succession
- Support project engineers and maintenance staff to achieve required performance
- Create a maintenance preventive program
- Implement KPIs system
- Establish business relations with local service-providers
- Implement maintenance management software
Requirements
- Experience on a similar position (technical, maintenance manager) in an international environment
- University engineering degree
- Fluent English and Polish
- Professional background gained in food industry or other industrialized production companies with automated production systems
- Lean and TPM practical knowledge
- Experience in developing a production facility (machine installations, project management)
- Preferably experience and knowledge of food safety (HACCP, BRC, etc)
