Our client is an international FMCG manufacturing company. It has over 10 production plants across Europe and is recognized an important player within the market it competes on. The annual turnover exceeds 1 bln Euro. Due to centralization of the controlling function we are searching for an exceptionally skilled candidate for a position:

Tasks
  • Acts as a Business partner of Sales Retail on CORPORATE LEVEL – contributes actively to the decision processes by providing business recommendations as well as transparency of the financial implications
  • Prepares financial analysis and evaluation of business cases, e.g. product portfolio decisions
  • Develops reporting system – the job holder is responsible for the creation and further development of the reports in Sales Retail and Marketing
  • Responsible for planning and forecasting for the whole group
  • Develops profit improvement measures and risk assessment – analyses structures and processes of Sales Retail/Marketing and their interfaces to other functions; identifies weak spots and pro-actively addresses improvement measures
  • Represents sales controlling in the new product development and portfolio management process
Requirements
  • Min 5 years’ experience on a similar positions (analyst/controller), ideally experience in FMCG company, preferably in financial controlling and/or sales controlling
  • Studies in business-management (controlling and/or marketing)
  • Fluent in English (oral and in written) – all reports in English, company language is English
  • B cat driving license is needed;
  • CIMA certificate is advantageous
  • SAP experience is advantageous
  • Business partnering requests a lot of soft skills: not only a „number’s cruncher” – communicative, persuading/right to the point, having a certain standing/making his/her points,
  • business understanding/commercial sense
  • readiness for frequent travelling (mostly Germany).
