Our client is an international machine equipment manufacturing company. It has over 10 production plants across the Globe and is recognized as an important player within the market it competes on. The annual turnover exceeds 500 mln Euro. Due to centralization of global sales function we are searching for an exceptionally skilled candidate for a position:

Tasks
  • Collecting and analyzing all commercial and financial data needed to take a decision regarding entering into a commercial contract with large international accounts
  • Provides analytical support to sales managers leading the international accounts/contracts; acts as a business partner to sales managers
  • Delivers regular and ad-hoc sales analysis referring to: sales volume or margin (broken by industry, customer, product, etc.); products range (e.g. per customer); pricing data; sales potential (what, when, to whom might be offered)
  • Responsible for planning and forecasting of sales across countries, different industries, customer groups, product categories, etc
  • Review the existing contracts in terms of commercial scope and obligations, conformity with the company’s standards, expiration and renewals
  • Administrate a document flow and archive process of all commercial agreements with international accounts
  • Promotes knowledge management within the company (centralizes commercial information inventories, distributes knowledge to sales managers, facilitates communication between sales managers)
Requirements
  • Experience on a similar positions (analyst/controller), preferably in sales/business controlling; alternatively a candidate may come from sales forces
  • Studies in business management (controlling and/or marketing)
  • Fluent in English (oral and in written) – all reports are in English which is a corporate official language
  • Business partnering requests a lot of soft skills: not only a „number’s cruncher” – communicative, persuading/right to the point
  • Business understanding/commercial sense
