Our Client is part of an international organization – a global, multi-industry manufacturer with over 100 years of history and operations worldwide. The group employs appr. 10.000 people and its turnover exceeds $3 BLN.
The company in Poland operates in two production sites and employs approximately 700 people. Its products and solutions are used across multiple sectors, particularly in the railway, machinery, and heavy industries. The company has received several awards recognizing its ethical business practices toward both employees and partners.
We are currently looking for a candidate for the position covering responsibility for health, safety, environment and fire protection:

Country HSE Manager

Miejsce pracy: Eastern surroundings of Rzeszów (responsibility for 2 plants)

Tasks
  • Managing occupational health and safety conditions at 2 plants (both in Rzeszów surroundings) including monitoring of working conditions, compliance with health and safety regulations, fire protection, and environmental standards.
  • Shaping the safety policy and culture throughout the company – building a „roadmap” for implementing the safety policy, including various projects, procedures, trainings, meetings and events
  • Developing and implementing methods for identifying potentially hazardous situations (near misses)
  • Developing post-incident procedures (root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures)
  • Recommending and implementing effective and functional safety management systems based on the concept of continuous improvement of workplace safety
  • Maintaining and developing occupational risk assessment processes, including personal and collective protective measures in the workplace.
  • Conducting internal audits and representing the company during external audits and inspections
  • Managing air emission control, waste management, and water/wastewater management within the company – initiating and coordinating projects aimed at improving emission quality.
  • Providing and organizing health and safety training for all employees
  • Leading the work of a subordinate team (3 people) across organizations
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar position in a high safety standard production company
  • Change management skills and ability to persuade people
  • Initiative and hands-on approach – we are searching for a person willing to present at the production floor
  • English language command, min. upper intermediate / B2
  • Safety appropriate education
