Our customer is an international FMCG manufacturer. The company is a market leader in Europe and is has very strong competitive positions on other, especially mature global regions. It offers a wide variety of goods in non-food categories. Several hundred new SKUs are launched every year. Due to technological advantages and huge investment projects (including manufacturing automation) the company is rapidly developing and extending its capacity. Currently we are looking for an experienced professional for the below position:
Tasks
- Shaping and driving compliance initiatives that support long-term business goals while addressing risks and opportunities
- Serving as the go-to person for all compliance-related topics, acting as a trusted partner for both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and manage compliance aspects related to innovation and ongoing projects
- Educating and guiding teams on compliance expectations throughout the full product lifecycle
- Overseeing and maintaining key product documentation, including safety-related information and regulatory filings
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, authorities, NGOs, and industry organizations
- Managing compliance-related topics for markets outside the European Union in collaboration with external partners
- Staying up to date with regulatory and legal changes and translating them into clear, actionable updates for internal processes
Requirements
- Min. 5 years of professional experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a comparable role, ideally in manufacturing sector
- A university degree in Applied Sciences, Law, or a related discipline
- A good understanding of regulatory and compliance topics impacting products and business operations
- Excellent communication skills in English written and spoken
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional or matrix environments and successfully bringing teams together
- Strong project and change management capabilities, with a proven ability to improve processes and ways of working
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, combined with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence in working with a wide range of stakeholders and building effective working relationships
- A strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate future needs and align actions with business priorities
