Our client is an international FMCG manufacturing company. It has over 10 production plants across Europe and is recognized an important player within the market it competes on. The annual turnover exceeds 1 bln Euro. Due to centralization of the controlling function we are searching for an exceptionally skilled candidate for a position:
Tasks
- planning, preparation and coordination of the annual budget for the Logistics Department in all countries in Europe (along with its verification and updating) in cooperation with the senior logistics controller and/or senior management of the group
- regular monitoring, reporting and analysis of key factors (financial and non-financial) influencing logistics costs
- analyzing the reasons for changes in costs and costs drivers
- support for the management by preparing reports and ad hoc analyses in order to optimize processes and costs
- active participation in implementation projects regarding tools for digitization and optimization of the supply chain, such as: integrated planning tool, tools for supply chain optimization, BI/ BW reports
- participation in the development of production demand analyses and forecasts (Sales and Operations Planning)
Requirements
- appr. 3 years’ experience in controlling department or an analytical role in business (e.g.: logistics, sales, production, etc.)
- fluent in English (oral and in written) is necessary
- studies in economics, finance, business administration or logistics
- good knowledge of MS Office, especially XLS (knowledge of VBA and SQL programming will be an advantage)
- driving licence
- experience in working with SAP ERP will be a plus
- willingness to work with innovative tools and solutions (integrated planning solutions, such as IBP or transport optimization)
- German language command will be an asset
