Subcontractors Quality Coordinator

Our client is an international company with established market position, having branches around the world. It is specialized in the field of height safety machines (gantries, lifts, building maintenance cranes) and provides high quality, reliable and innovative customized solutions to its customers across the globe. For our client we are looking for a person for the position:

Subcontractors Quality Coordinator

Location: whole Poland (the employee should live preferably in central or western part of Poland)

Tasks
  • control and supervision of production processes at subcontractors facilities in different locations in Poland (possibly in other Eastern Europe countries in the future)
  • plan and perform quality-checks, notably FAT (factory acceptance tests)
  • monitor production progress in subcontractors’ factories and check the timeliness of subcontractors’ work
  • conduct trainings on maintaining quality standards to subcontractor’s employees
  • support the production of subcontractors by analyzing quality problems in the process
  • carry out interventions with subcontractors
  • report non-conformities and other quality related KPIs
Requirements
  • mechanical (or similar) engineer degree
  • min. 5 years of experience in industrial engineering on one of the following positions: production engineer, quality engineer, mechanical designer, project engineer, service technician/engineer or similar, preferably in the production of steel structures or machines
  • practical knowledge of assembly and welding of steel structures
  • well-developed organizational and communication skills, solution-oriented approach,
  • fluency in English or French
  • readiness for business trips (most of the time spent on auditing and supporting subcontractors)
