Our customer is an international manufacturer in a chemical industry (producer of consumer goods). The company has a wide and diverse product range. The factory in Poland is continuously developing, multimillion investments are ongoing projects. It employs over 600 people. We are looking for an experienced professional for the below position:
Tasks
- Overall quality responsibility covering quality control, improvement plans referring to products and processes and development of quality culture across the whole organization
- Identification and solving of quality issues using various modern techniques, e.g.: 5Why, Ishikawa diagram, 8D, etc.
- Initiating improvement programs aimed to permanent/continuous prevention of defects – zero DPPM policy
- Tight cooperation with production, process engineering, marketing and sourcing departments – solving problems and developing quality culture in line with World Class Manufacturing methods
- Supervise and adjust quality control procedures followed by analytical work
- Supervision over laboratory analytical work and building/organizing knowledge database of various tests and experiments
- Supervision of upscaling the production from laboratory to full scale production process
Requirements
- Experience on a similar position, preferably in one of the following industries: chemical, food, cosmetics, pharma, plastics or similar
- Ability to connect technology, equipment, raw materials, processes and people
- Proven experience and achievements in quality improvement projects
- Excellent managerial skills (coordination of multiple projects)
- Dynamism and proactive approach
- Financial understandings, calculations, costs analysis
- English language command, min. upper intermediate / B2
- University Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or similar relevant education
