Our Client is a large manufacturer of consumer goods, supplying the leading retailers in Europe, and their global subsidiaries. The company's plants are situated in Eastern Europe, with headcount appr. 1000 employees. We are searching for an exceptionally skilled candidate for a position:
Tasks
- Provide leadership for all aspects of the company (internal and external)
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to advance the company’s mission and objectives to drive profitability, and growth as an organization. Specific priorities to include:
- Change management to develop the management team and the company to an international standard
- Enhance a lean management and lean manufacturing strategy to reduce operational costs while maintain industry leading performance levels
- Improve organizational effectiveness through strong process development, metrics tracking and accountability
- Optimization of manufacturing operations
- Implement state-of-the-art practices/metrics to measure and drive company-wide improvement in all functional areas, including finance, production efficiency, quality, SCM
Requirements
- Experience in an internationally competitive manufacturing companies with a record of management excellence. Coming preferably from the automotive or electronic industries sectors on positions: CEO, COO, GM, plant manager, operations manager or similar
- Experience in managing international operations
- Strong strategic mind
- An Entrepreneurial Spirit with a desire to excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to transition legacy culture to culture of accountability, metrics and performance and world-class business processes
- Motivational management style
- Ready willingness to interact with customers.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically
