Our client is a large (several thousand employees) organization with a long history, operating in the construction & real estate sector. The company has several subsidiaries, is financially stable exceeding EUR 200 mln turnover (with a growing revenue trend in recent years), and has consistently expanded its operations. We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:
Tasks
- Conducting financial control of long-term contracts, including budgets, costs, revenues, margins and contract settlements
- Supporting business leaders – collaborating with operational departments to improve process efficiency and enhance financial performance
- Monitoring contract profitability, economic risk, and liquidity, including variances, provisions, and loss-making contracts
- Assessing contract progress and scope
- Ongoing control of costs, payments, liabilities, and receivables
- Preparing management reports and analyses for the Management Board covering profitability, cash outlook, and other KPIs
- Close cooperation with the finance and accounting department and other company departments
Requirements
- Several 5 years of experience in a similar role within a large or medium-sized company in the construction or manufacturing industry (project-based production)
- Higher education degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- The ability to think analytically and recognize business interdependencies
- Proactive approach and independence in action, with the ability to make decisions
- Excellent communication skills (multiple interactions with various people)
- English language command, min. intermediate / B1
- Willingness to travel on business (driving license category B)
